A peaceful, healing place

March 2nd, 2006

A few ideas from this week – things that I have been focused on lately.

It is possible to manifest anything in your life if you take action. Just make a decision and you can do it!

You can feel honest and pure love for other human beings without expecting anything in return. Ever offer to buy someone lunch, or give them a book they want, maybe an itunes gift – just because you felt compelled to do something nice?

I get these compulsions all the time. Of course, I don’t open my door to strangers, but I will give people pocket change when I can. I don’t know what they really do with the money – but once I give it away, it stops mattering to me. Once a gift is given, one should relax and let it be.

The power of intention is a amazing thing. If it is your intention to let abundance flow through you and to those who need it, let it flow! You can be a conduit for greatness when you open yourself to the possibilities. Being a conduit for greatness means being willing to be used to make life better for someone else without asking for, or expecting something in return for the action.

I like the idea that the people in our hearts were meant to be there. Perhaps, we even made a pact to help one another before we came here. Those in our lives who are special were meant to be there. It’s a nice idea.

This makes me appreciate the words in that Michael Franks song – “How I Remember You“. By the way, I only recently put the name with the voice I have enjoyed so long. Michael Franks is – in my opinion – one of the top male vocalists and a brilliant song writer.

Thanks for reading and have a safe, positive, and inspired week!

No Longer Lurking

January 28th, 2006

It’s no secret, blogging is a cool way to post information and get the word out about what’s going on in your life. For the last year or so, I have said to myself, “When I get some free time, I’ll start to blog”.

I actually don’t have extra time to blog, but from this moment I plan to set aside some time on a weekly basis. I love to learn and I will continue to do so as long as I can, and I am interested in keeping up with as many technologies as I can.

2005 was a very interesting year for me. I learned a great deal this year, made some incredible strides in my personal life as well as my professional one. This year will be even better! 2006 is definitely the year for me.

My friends call me an optimist, because I always look at the sunny side of life. I think it’s more important to create your own destiny than to be satisfied with something other than your ideal. There will always be setbacks, that’s part of life – and it’s not enough to just ‘think positive’. What I believe is that one creates their own destiny through their everyday thoughts.

I believe all you have to do is make a decision about where you want to be in life, and then take action. Be very descriptive about your desires, your goals. No detail is too small. Visualize what you want to happen, and focus on that idea, and your subconscious mind will find a way to make it happen.

It’s something I have done all my life. I used to think that I was just really lucky because the things I wanted to happen seem to come my way. Then I realized that there is more to it than luck. Many people I speak to say the same thing, they visualize things they want and these things manifest.

This blog will be about technology, and manifesting your goals into reality, and many other things. Also, I’ll be posting information on several of the websites I am doing for clients, as well as Aeon Media LLC.
