I want to save the world. So, I am doing research online. What I am learning is that short bursts of fossil fuel usage are more harmful than long trips so unless I can help it – I avoid those. What I want is an electric car. low emissions and excellent for the environment.
Im not talking about the hybrids; I am talking about genuine 100 percent electric battery powered personal vehicles. There are so many high-powered forces in the way. Prohibitively high insurance rates. Impossibly slow top speeds – even a lack of community support (some places do not allow them).
Its obvious to anyone who is conspiracy minded that the powers that be just wont allow us to save the world!
Hmarumph, I can type all day about the savage inequalities of the world. I won’t. Instead, I offer you a concept – a solution. No more complaining or complacency. Apathy is deadly. Action based thought is a good place to begin.
Lets get a positive, environment friendly movement started. We all need to breathe. Let’s begin to show appreciation to our eco system by keeping the air clean. Our water responds to us and out emotions. Let us begin to show appreciation.
If enough people are pulling for electric cars that are fast enough to be driven safely and have enough battery power to get us where we want to be, the world can be a very different place in a short amount of time.
Here are some resources on electric cars:

Umm.. I had something of an update on this which enlightened me some.
When I was interviewing a mechanic here (he’s from Jersey) for the local paper, he happened to mention that my vehicle wouldn’t pass up there due to the exhaust sounding “loud-ish”. He told me quite a bit of what Jersey was like, with strict air quality emission control and how older vehicles would always be pounced upon by the emission cops . Then it dawned on me that electric vehicles would bypass this whole problem, leaving those emission cops scratching their heads in confusion.
(just wanted to say that)
