Zoom in on THIS

It’s an amazing thing – the nature of perception. It’s almost as complex as the mind/soul or mind/cognition question. The answer has never been given! Because the very nature of the questions tells us our limitations in the physical realm prevent a stong, provable conclusion. But – OK – I’m convinced that there is an answer, and I am trying to find it with that part of my spirit/mind that can have faith. In the mean time, I am looking at the world, making every effort to sense the things that I need to sense in order to make that connection.

So – I am looking at everyday things, but I am looking at them up close, under a mircoscope because I want to really see them. Really know that they are made of, how they are shaped, how they appear. Some things are amazing – and stunning. I posted images I captured with a digital microscope.

Check out the mini-web page. It’s at http://www.oshell.com/microscope/ – and the link in this blog is called – Things Up Close

A peaceful, healing place

A few ideas from this week – things that I have been focused on lately.

It is possible to manifest anything in your life if you take action. Just make a decision and you can do it!

You can feel honest and pure love for other human beings without expecting anything in return. Ever offer to buy someone lunch, or give them a book they want, maybe an itunes gift – just because you felt compelled to do something nice?

I get these compulsions all the time. Of course, I don’t open my door to strangers, but I will give people pocket change when I can. I don’t know what they really do with the money – but once I give it away, it stops mattering to me. Once a gift is given, one should relax and let it be.

The power of intention is a amazing thing. If it is your intention to let abundance flow through you and to those who need it, let it flow! You can be a conduit for greatness when you open yourself to the possibilities. Being a conduit for greatness means being willing to be used to make life better for someone else without asking for, or expecting something in return for the action.

I like the idea that the people in our hearts were meant to be there. Perhaps, we even made a pact to help one another before we came here. Those in our lives who are special were meant to be there. It’s a nice idea.

This makes me appreciate the words in that Michael Franks song – “How I Remember You“. By the way, I only recently put the name with the voice I have enjoyed so long. Michael Franks is – in my opinion – one of the top male vocalists and a brilliant song writer.

Thanks for reading and have a safe, positive, and inspired week!
