Back in Black

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

I love to be creative. I kind of live for it. Lately I have been doing some really wild writing, painting, and drawing. It’s like I’m welcoming back an old friend that I have not spoken to in years. I’m channeling beauty through my eyes and out my hands. But there is definitely a higher energy frequency coming out of me lately. I can feel it building up to the point where it may change me forever. Has anyone ever felt that? I don’t know if I am the only one.

I have to get this out, or I will go CRAZY. So I started painting again. Tonight, I started a piece called “The Palace of Excess” and I plan on painting a version of some more sketches. When these are finished, I will post some photos of them.

I know it’s been months since my last post. What has happened? A lot. I realized several goals and started bowling again. I made friends with the name that I used to think was horrible and I am even introducing myself as it – in combo with Leah, of course. Robin Leah. I may actually change my name to Jade. Its a real possibility that I’ll do that on a whim, but since I already wrote about it – that makes it a pre-meditated whim. Does that still count as a whim? No matter what happens, at least I have my creative spark still intact. I didn’t completely kill it when I went on that last analytical binge.

Peace and Love to ALL. Remember – You were born with potential!

I want an electric car

Sunday, June 25th, 2006

I want to save the world. So, I am doing research online. What I am learning is that short bursts of fossil fuel usage are more harmful than long trips so unless I can help it – I avoid those. What I want is an electric car. low emissions and excellent for the environment.

Im not talking about the hybrids; I am talking about genuine 100 percent electric battery powered personal vehicles. There are so many high-powered forces in the way. Prohibitively high insurance rates. Impossibly slow top speeds – even a lack of community support (some places do not allow them).

Its obvious to anyone who is conspiracy minded that the powers that be just wont allow us to save the world!

Hmarumph, I can type all day about the savage inequalities of the world. I won’t. Instead, I offer you a concept – a solution. No more complaining or complacency. Apathy is deadly. Action based thought is a good place to begin.

Lets get a positive, environment friendly movement started. We all need to breathe. Let’s begin to show appreciation to our eco system by keeping the air clean. Our water responds to us and out emotions. Let us begin to show appreciation.

If enough people are pulling for electric cars that are fast enough to be driven safely and have enough battery power to get us where we want to be, the world can be a very different place in a short amount of time.

Here are some resources on electric cars:

http://www.zapworld.com/ – better prices. Awesome electric cars

Zoom in on THIS

It’s an amazing thing – the nature of perception. It’s almost as complex as the mind/soul or mind/cognition question. The answer has never been given! Because the very nature of the questions tells us our limitations in the physical realm prevent a stong, provable conclusion. But – OK – I’m convinced that there is an answer, and I am trying to find it with that part of my spirit/mind that can have faith. In the mean time, I am looking at the world, making every effort to sense the things that I need to sense in order to make that connection.

So – I am looking at everyday things, but I am looking at them up close, under a mircoscope because I want to really see them. Really know that they are made of, how they are shaped, how they appear. Some things are amazing – and stunning. I posted images I captured with a digital microscope.

Check out the mini-web page. It’s at http://www.oshell.com/microscope/ – and the link in this blog is called – Things Up Close

A peaceful, healing place

A few ideas from this week – things that I have been focused on lately.

It is possible to manifest anything in your life if you take action. Just make a decision and you can do it!

You can feel honest and pure love for other human beings without expecting anything in return. Ever offer to buy someone lunch, or give them a book they want, maybe an itunes gift – just because you felt compelled to do something nice?

I get these compulsions all the time. Of course, I don’t open my door to strangers, but I will give people pocket change when I can. I don’t know what they really do with the money – but once I give it away, it stops mattering to me. Once a gift is given, one should relax and let it be.

The power of intention is a amazing thing. If it is your intention to let abundance flow through you and to those who need it, let it flow! You can be a conduit for greatness when you open yourself to the possibilities. Being a conduit for greatness means being willing to be used to make life better for someone else without asking for, or expecting something in return for the action.

I like the idea that the people in our hearts were meant to be there. Perhaps, we even made a pact to help one another before we came here. Those in our lives who are special were meant to be there. It’s a nice idea.

This makes me appreciate the words in that Michael Franks song – “How I Remember You“. By the way, I only recently put the name with the voice I have enjoyed so long. Michael Franks is – in my opinion – one of the top male vocalists and a brilliant song writer.

Thanks for reading and have a safe, positive, and inspired week!
